Humanitization through Intergenerational Dialogue

Tags :

I absolutely loved Tim Ingold perspective and happy to share learnings in a nutshell in this video
Our past is in front of us. Our future is behind us. How do we value #time #presence #generations? When we bring #durability into the conversation about #innovation, we are invited to slow down and rethink our relationship with time itself. Sustainability is not only about speed, efficiency, or novelty — it is about #continuity, #tradition, and #respons-ability. As sustainability managers and leaders, part of our role is precisely this: to re-anchor innovation in time, not detach it from it. Anthropologist Tim #Ingold offers a powerful perspective on #GenNow and life. Rather than seeing “them” as a straight line/layer, he invites us to see us as a whole. To be with life and not on, a #meshwork of relationships, where we walk with those who came before us and alongside those who will come after us. #Longing and #belonging are not opposites. They are conditions for #continuity. The #future cannot exist without the shared, often invisible #undercommonality of life — the practices, values, and care that bind generations together. Innovation that forgets this becomes extractive. #Innovation that remembers becomes #regenerative. To #humanize progress is not a one-off action. It is a process. A process of listening, reconnecting, and choosing to live — not just to produce, perform, or accelerate. So I leave you with a question: Are you ready to truly live life — and to #design a future that honours both those who came before us and those who are yet to arrive? If you are ready to explore this #humanization journey, I would be glad to walk it together!

Motivation & Mindset in Workability – Coaching for Inclusion

The Power of Mindset to Transform the Work Environment

In my coaching work, I have the privilege of accompanying a young adult, Giovanni, who lives with a disability yet is deeply committed to contributing to society with all his abilities.

When he first came to me, he was ready to quit his job and review his CV. he wanted to quit not because he lacked motivation — but because of the environment around him.

He was not given meaningful work.

He was told, “You can’t do this,” “You’re useless.” He would arrive in the morning to find a chair placed at his desk — despite using a wheelchair and not needing one.

He was simply… unseen.

This should never happen.

Giovanni has extraordinary motivation, a strong work ethic, and the desire to learn and grow. He is doing everything we ask of any worker in today’s society — showing up, engaging, contributing.

So he made an investment in himself. We started coaching sessions together, and now — halfway through, after four sessions — the transformation is visible.

His motivation is back.

His self-esteem is rising.

He is learning how to express his needs confidently, build healthy relationships, and show his value in the workplace.

Because relationships — communication, empathy, emotional intelligence — are transferable skills that shape every work environment.

And when people feel seen, respected, and included, they thrive.

I am honored to walk this journey with him and eager to see how far we can go.

Inclusion is not a slogan. It’s a daily practice — made of small actions that restore dignity and unlock potential.

Beyond the Business Model Canvas: Designing for Regenerative Impact

Tags :

In today’s complex and fast-changing world, applying innovative and sustainable business modelling is no longer a niche — it’s a strategic imperative.

I’m excited to work with organizations ready to go beyond the traditional Business Model Canvas and embrace tools grounded in values, purpose, and systems thinking. This approach doesn’t just ask how your business creates value, but why, for whom, and at what cost or benefit to the world?

Together, we explore:
💡 Purpose-driven value propositions
🌍 Systemic and environmental impacts
🤝 Stakeholder engagement and long-term well-being
🌱 Regenerative strategies that align profit with positive societal transformation

I’m here to support organizations, teams, and leaders to map out their case for change, surface real challenges, and activate meaningful innovation rooted in sustainability and equity.

🔎 Is your business model future-ready? Let’s talk about how to evolve it — with purpose.

Roundtable DE&I in a Changing Landscape in Findomestic

Tags :

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining an insightful event hosted by Simona Piva at Findomestic Banca, brilliantly moderated by Tiziano Colombi of Divercity Magazine, to reflect on the state of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) — especially in light of recent political pressures, including pushbacks like those emerging from the US post-Trump rhetoric.

What’s in a name? Some companies are rebranding DE&I efforts as simply “Inclusion” or “Belonging,” but the real conversation should be about values. We must reconnect with the deeper why behind our actions — are we truly building workplaces where everyone can thrive?

Key insights included:
🌱 The urgency for meaningful metrics that measure impact beyond surface compliance
💡 The strategic value of DE&I as a driver of inclusive innovation and sustainable business models
🌍 The reminder that diversity is universal — though not always visible — and fostering inclusion requires ongoing training, self-reflection, and a commitment to connect with self, society, and nature

🔍 What is the role of leaders in safeguarding and evolving the spirit of DE&I today — and tomorrow?

Creating possibility for Innovation & Sustainability in Higher Education – Workshop BIP UNIFI

Tags :

🌍 Did you know about the incredible Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) under Action 1 of Erasmus+ 2021–2027?
These inclusive programs are hosted by European partner universities and bring together students of all ethnicities, ages, and academic backgrounds for short-term, high-impact learning experiences that combine online and in-person formats.

🎓 I had the honour of being invited as a guest lecturer in one of these programmes, where I led a workshop on pedagogical innovation, experiential learning, and sustainability.

As a kickoff and activation, I introduced Theory U and guided the group through the Case Clinic Coaching Circle, a peer-to-peer method developed by the Presencing Institute at MIT (Prof. Otto Scharmer). This tool allowed students to explore deep listening, share real cases, and reflect on challenges while building authentic connections.

💬 The feedback was powerful — students appreciated the opportunity to be seen, heard, and supported. They left with concrete skills for both personal growth and professional development.

🎯 Learning outcomes achieved:

🧠 Knowledge Developed

  • Understanding principles, theories, and approaches to social and environmental sustainability and sustainable human development.
  • Gaining insights into the promotion of sustainable development within the complexity of territories, considering environmental, economic, social, and cultural ecosystems.

🛠️ Skills Acquired

  • Applying systems thinking, critical thinking, and problem-framing to evaluate decisions.
  • Analyzing the complexity of interconnected systems shaped by values, experiences, and worldviews.
  • Developing creative and critical thinking around future trajectories.
  • Evaluating the impact of individual and professional behaviour on the environment, society, and culture.
  • Designing initiatives to promote behaviour that respects people and the planet.

💡 Soft Skills Strengthened

  • Teamwork and collaboration, especially in multicultural and international contexts.
  • Communication and language skills.
  • Critical, systemic thinking; problem posing and problem solving.
  • Respect for diverse values and cultures.
  • Self-management, reflection, and adaptability.
  • Learning to learn.

🌱 Education for sustainability is not only about knowledge, but about transformation. If you want to dive deeper or consider participating in future editions, explore the official programme page:
